Mobility Intel had the opportunity to attend the Gitex event in Dubai as exhibitors for the first time this year, which took place from the 17th of October through the 21st of October.
GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, exhibition, and conference that takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
We were able to have a few members in attendance at the event and we wanted to give each of them a chance to discuss their experiences at GITEX.
- Abdul Loul, CEO and Founder:
In the past couple years I have personally visited or exhibited at the largest Technology and Consumer Electronics exhibitions from around the world. My experience at GITEX 2021 as exhibitor, visitor, and speaker was different and the results were beyond my expectations as far as number of exhibitors and visitors, and event organization. By walking around, I was able to witness brand new technologies and innovations that make the future of tech more promising as we humans are becoming more and more dependent upon technology in our daily lives.
There is no doubt that GITEX Dubai has become the largest exhibition in the Middle East and the bridge between Asia, Middle East, Europe, and America for exchanging knowledge. The success factors to this event are Dubai’s geographic location, being amongst the safest places on earth and tourist friendly, and UAE leadership’s mission to bring the world together. It is clear with their huge interest in smart cities and green technologies, that this is definitely an event that will continue to attract only the best and the brightest industries around the world.
- Mahmoud Wahadan, COO:
This was my first time attending an expo like GITEX Dubai. The amount of new information and data for me to absorb was overwhelming at first, but once I was able to walk around the event a bit and explore the various exhibits and understand what the goal of this event truly was, I was able to truly immerse myself in the advances in technology that we as a human race have made. There were incredible new technologies such as; Robotic Mobilization Devices that could allow someone in a wheelchair to stand or even walk, AI driven medical technologies, and even an appearance by Boston Dynamics robot dog.
It was a great personal experience for me to learn the ins and outs of what the industry has to offer and to grow my skills as a COO through my conversations with investors, exhibitors, visitors, and country delegates. Not only was it a good experience for me personally, but Mobility Intel was able to take advantage of networking opportunities and we look to the future to grow ourselves as a company.
- Lina Lakrout, Senior Data Analyst:
Let me tell you how great an experience it was to attend one of the biggest tech and AI events in the industry – GITEX in Dubai. Without any doubt, participating in such events is a huge milestone for startups. These events are meant to bring new connections together and help businesses grow and thrive.
We had quite a few goals to achieve for this event. But one of the most important goals was to interact with people and spread the word about what we do. I was surprised by the number of exhibitors and visitors that had the chance to attend the event this year, which made it even more successful. Anyone who visited us at Mobility Intel’s booth and was introduced to our services, was amazed by what we provide and it made me extremely happy and honored to represent such great services and company.
GITEX is definitely a must go event for anyone into not just technology but also interesting and innovative experiences.
- Dina H. Elshorbagy Business Development Specialist:
My experience–mainly from a sales perspective, as most of my time was spent at Mobility Intel’s booth, talking and interacting with individuals from all over the world.
Many visitors and exhibitors stopped to learn more about our services and to specifically request fully customized solutions. Others stopped out of curiosity to learn more about Mobility Intel as a company and the industry that we serve.
Both perspectives are 100% important, as the main reason companies and individuals attend events like that is to network and perhaps find the answers to their own special needs to help their businesses grow.
Taking advantage of this opportunity to fully immerse myself and interact with as many companies and individuals from around the world as possible and explaining our services and customizing each service to fit those needs was an experience that I truly personally and professionally appreciate.
This is brought to you by Mobility Intel’s team members. Tune in every week where we share our views on different topics from around the world.
